07.06.16 - The new „WENZEL Metrology World“ is online.

Everybody is talking about Industry 4.0 which covers all areas of industry and of course includes the quality assurance process. It is crucial for us to offer customers solutions that can be fully integrated into the production process.

This means that measurement systems can be automatically loaded and measurement programs can be started directly, ensuring that data such as measuring programs and results can be exchanged and processed through standardized interfaces.          

The trend is towards intelligent and integrated solutions. This allows users to increase productivity. Significant improvements in the measurement throughput can be achieved through the use of optical measuring methods and powerful tactile 5-axis scanning systems.

A further increase in productivity is achieved by the integration of fully automatic measuring systems in the production cycle, thus allowing immediate feedback of results into the production process reducing waste and bringing cost efficiency savings.  

We have expanded and developed the interfaces of our measurement software Metrosoft QUARTIS in recent months so as to provide direct data transfer with external systems, thus allowing full integration into the process chain. 

This year‘s highlight is the new WENZEL SHAPETRACER II - Optical 3D Line Scanner. We are setting standards in the field of digitization. Compared to the previous model, we achieved an amazing performance increase of 400%.
