Official Inauguration Ceremony at the China Jiliang University
27.06.17 - The official inauguration ceremony of the joint laboratory of China Jiliang University and WENZEL was held in Laboratory No. 104, College of Metrology and Measurement Engineering, China Jiliang University on the 25th of April 2017.
Ahjin Wenzel (Director Marketing & Sales Asia, WENZEL Group GmbH & Co. KG), BS Tan (Deputy Area Manager, WENZEL Shanghai), Zou Deyu (Marketing Manager, WENZEL Shanghai), Wang Yuebing (Dean, College of Metrology & Measurement Engineering, China Jiliang University), Bao Fubing (Deputy Dean), Li Jiong (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee) and a select group of students were present at the inauguration.
At the inauguration ceremony, Ahjin Wenzel and other representatives of the WENZEL Group, donated the world-class exaCT industrial Computed Tomography work station. The CT work station will be used for courses and experiments as well as for academic competitions by undergraduates and postgraduates of the College of Metrology & Measurement Engineering. Wang Yuebing,dean of the College of Metrology & Measurement Engineering, accepted the industrial CT work station on behalf of the College and formally inaugurated the joint laboratory together with Ahjin Wenzel.
After the inauguration the WENZEL Group representatives participated in interviews with students majoring in measurement technology, control technology and instrumentation, which were candidates for a practical education program in the headquarters of the WENZEL Group in Germany this year. These students will head to the WENZEL headquarters in Wiesthal, Germany for further training this September. This selection marks the official launch of the practical education program of China Jiliang University and WENZEL Group. The program will provide a platform and show a new approach on how to develop and support inherent potential of engineering talents of the College of Metrology & Measurement Engineering, China Jiliang University. Both parties will closely cooperate with each other to provide excellent conditions for the students to gain as much knowledge and skills as possible.
