WENZEL continues growth and expands its location in India

20.06.17 - New ideas and products from WENZEL Group GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Wiesthal, Germany, ensures further growth for the Group.

Solutions responding to the demands of Industry 4.0 and the growing importance of software in measurement technology are some reasons for the latest expansion of the existing sales and service location in India.

WENZEL South Asia Private Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the WENZEL Group and was founded in 2008. The subsidiary is located in Faribadad on the outskirts of New Delhi. The new premises were formally inaugurated by Dr. Heike Wenzel, CEO of the WENZEL Group and Prof. Dr. Heiko Wenzel-Schinzer, Chief Digital Officer Business Development representing the Wiesthal headquarters, together with Navneet Bhanot, the Managing Director of the subsidiary in India and his local team.

After a comprehensive analysis of possible locations, WENZEL decided that, in addition to the existing software development locations in Balingen, Greding and Wiesthal in Germany and Chur in Switzerland, another significant team is to be set up in India. In future, this location will support further development of WENZEL software solutions for tactile and optical measurement technology.
