bike to work 2023 - our teams have covered 2,151 kilometers
July 5th, 2023 - The Swiss bicycle and health promotion campaign "bike to work" took place in May and June 2023.
3,249 companies from all parts of the country took part in "bike to work", the nationwide campaign to promote health in companies. In doing so, they strengthen the team spirit and fitness of their employees and are committed to sustainable mobility behavior. This year, the 97,617 participants covered 28,375,802 kilometers. This corresponds to a CO2 equivalent of 4,086 tons.
In May and June, the three teams from WENZEL Metromec AG tackled the commute to work by bicycle or HPM (Human Powered Mobility, e.g. on foot, with roller skates, etc.) on 74% of the working days and covered 2,151 km in the process. The saving as a CO2 equivalent is proportionately 310 kg.
The management of WENZEL Metromec AG congratulates the three teams on this excellent result and hopes that even more employees will be able to get enthusiastic about "bike to work" next year.
