07.05.15 - To develop complex products and services is a challenging task. Especially in an environment where requirements are blurred or even unknown in the beginning and the risk level is high, iterative-agile process models such as Scrum or Kanban can help to realize the required functionality faster and better.

WENZEL Metromec Product Owner succesfull at CPRE exam Thereby, the so-called Product Owner plays an important role. He optimizes the added value in the product development, describing customer requirements in the form of user stories. User stories are collected in the product backlog and prioritized according to utility aspects. More on Scrum can be found here.

It is important to WENZEL Metromec, that all Product Owner have a common term and knowledge basis. This applies both to the technical task domain "Metrology" (see AUKOM) as well as for the requirement engineering and the requirement management.

By means of collective training and individual self-study, several employees of WENZEL Metromec have prepared themselves for exam Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering - Foundation Level (CPRE-FL) and successfully completed the exam in order to obtain the relevant certificate.

The IREB e.V. CPRE program is an internationally recognized standard for requirements engineering. The foundation level comprises basic knowledge of eliciting, analyzing, specifying, documenting, validating and managing requirements.
