13.03.17 - WENZEL announces cooperation with universities in China and Singapore. Frank Wenzel, CEO of WENZEL Group, signed an agreement with China Jiliang University and Nanyang Polytechnic Institute earlier this year.

China Jiliang University (CJLU, formerly the China Institute of Metrology) is a university located in Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang Province and was founded in 1978. It is the only university qualified to offer bachelor's and master's degrees in the sectors of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine in China.

Nanyang Polytechnic (abbreviation: NYP) is a Singapore polytechnic located in the precinct of Yio Chu Kang in the town of Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. The Polytechnic was established on 1 April 1992. The School of Engineering was opened in July 1993 and offers an exciting range of quality engineering, science and technology courses.

The cooperation includes the development of skills and knowledge in the field of metrology. The Universities will organize seminars and workshops together with WENZEL using WENZEL CMMs and Computed Tomography Systems. Moreover the WENZEL Group will provide internships for students at the university.
